husk3rf8n
PLEASE take Young off the field FOREVER!!! He's awful and should never play another down for NU!!! Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
Fire Banker. Has literally no clue how to scheme against dual threat QB's and defenses fall on their face anytime they play an offense with a pulse. Quote Link to comment
Beez
There will be no more firings. Riley is loyal to a fault. Injuries will be blamed for this loss. Against a depleted UT team..... screw injuries. Every team has them. Others just recruit/develop depth... Which he is trying to do because the last guy did a pathetic job at it. Quit blaming Bo. This is Rileys show. Year 2.....Harbaugh, Fuentes, Frost, Richt all say hello..... Next year it will be Bo's fault. And they year after that, the year after that, and so on and so forth. Well, it's still Bush's fault. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Does Banker teach the players not to use their arms? It really just started this game. Never seen so much before. Reed, Wlliams, Jackson etc.....horrible. They look like Deion Sanders trying to roll a guy up. Like McBride said. Speed and then hitters....... We are lacking both. Nailed it. +1 This is really the first game I'd say we can't tackle. Its baffling. Going to nickel so much and Gerry out really hurt MUCH more than I would've figured. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
We have them right where we want them. Riley is making Butchy Boy feel confident and then, BAM. Rips his heart out. Quote Link to comment
AZHusker33
This game is beyond embarrassing. What a sad way to go into the offseason. Next year is do or die for Riley, he'll have mostly his recruits, his staff, his type of QB, etc. I can't imagine he survives a 6-6 or 5-7 season which seems likely to me. Quote Link to comment
Beez
Gotta think this will hurt our recruiting. Quote Link to comment
lo country
PLEASE take Young off the field FOREVER!!! He's awful and should never play another down for NU!!! He has gotten schooled tonight. You figure going against TA in practice he'd have a much better grasp of how to play a dual threat. Its like none of our guys know how to use the sideline as a 2nd defender.... Quote Link to comment
adc7236
Just logged in to vent. If I have to pick ONE reason only that we lose this game: 1. Poor tackling! I am getting tired of the no wrap up tackles. On another note, we look like we just woke up from a nap in time to play. We are not even close to fired up. Its hard to watch. Quote Link to comment
Sargon
At some point this redzone D has to realize this QB can run. Stupid is as stupid does. Quote Link to comment
Big red surfers
445 yards thru 3 quarters. That's some fine D banker fielding out there. Quote Link to comment
Day by Day
Gotta think this will hurt our recruiting. Why? Quote Link to comment

This is Rileys show. Year 2.....Harbaugh, Fuentes, Frost, Richt all say hello..... It's common sense, you don't rebuild a program with very little talent and zero depth with one recruiting class. As for those coaches you mentioned, those guys all walked into teams that had a lot of talent and depth because the firings were for a different reason, they had the needed talent, but didn't get it done which is nowhere were NU is at in the post Bo era. Let's see how Harbaugh does next year after losing 17-18 guys off of this team and Hokes players are gone. Much like how Bo's best years were with Callahan's players. Quote Link to comment
cornstar
Good thing that we don't have any of those awful dual threat QBs any more. Quote Link to comment
