Spring Practice Notes

I've got a question.

Spring practice hasn't started yet. How can Langs and KW be working with their position groups?

I thought coaches were heavily restricted from working with the players in the off season.

I believe those are what they like to call "Captains" practice...

Couldn't what they are doing be considered strength and conditioning?

Maybe rules have changed. But, I thought "Captains" practices were just that...ran by captains on the team because coaches weren't allowed to participate.

And....I thought actual position coaches were not allowed to even help with conditioning.

Again...maybe these rules have been relaxed.

The coaches are allowed more access to the players in the off-season. It is not like it used to be where the coaches would sit and watch captain led 7 on 7's. They changed the rule recently (within the last few years) on coach contact
