BaeccBIG10
Debatable question, I believe ACC was far and away the best conference last year, they had the most depth and still had enough elite teams. It just seems to me that the Big 10 is still sticking to hard nose, 7 min possessions scoring 20 points a game. The acc on the other hand recruits amazing athletes and run fast hurry up offense and are now beating up on the BiG and SEC. 1 Quote Link to comment
Decked
Wisconsin disagrees. OSU, PSU, and Wisconsin are a solid three. Michigan will probably take a step back. Quote Link to comment
BaeccBIG10
Wisconsin has never been good until about last 10 years and are always the same team every year. They have never had Athelstan and if they went up against teams like FSU they would get blown out Quote Link to comment

They have been a very good program for the past 25 years. 3 Quote Link to comment
Decked
I guess playing old school football gets you wins over LSU, and a great bowl game & win. They also didn't get destroyed against OSU. But yeah, old school football sucks. Make sure to tell that to Bama too. 2 Quote Link to comment
BaeccBIG10
Wisconsin was ok when running the ball up the middle for three yards each play worked.... but now the game is changing they almost have no talent at skill positions, and not to mention BIG teams do not do a lot out of conference against other teams compared to ACC and SEC so it's hard to judge how good some of those 7-9 win teams really were. BaeccBIG10
By ththe way Alabama does not run old school football, throwing quick screens to the outside is pretty modern, all they have to do there is run a pro offense and they win, because of the talent they reel in each year. Redux
Overall the ACC was probably the best last year followed by the Big Ten and then the SEC. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I remember a few years ago when the ACC was in competition with the Big XII for the WORST conference in the country. This all is cyclical. Right now they have a couple teams that are pretty dang good just like the SEC and B1G. No, we don't all of a sudden need to copy everything they are doing offensively to be considered the top conference in the country. Quote Link to comment
Redux
I think this year is probably another SEC year. I just expect the Big Ten to finish about 2nd again unless the PAC 12 steps up, and the ACC likely regresses back. Naturally it's between the Sun Belt and the Big 12 for worst conference.
