No insinuation, I'll say it straight out -- every Husker coach in history has turned away walkons that could've helped the team. Evaluating talent isn't an exact science. Just remembered it so I thought I'd share (if I didn't put it somewhere else already). Nebraska (supposedly) has the third-biggest football roster in the country.
