Welcome to the Isaiah Roby show Roby finished with a horrendous plus/minus on the day. But dearest nerds, let it not mislead you about what he did on the afternoon. Throwing down dunks, running the floor with spirit, going at -- and I mean at! -- Tacko Fall were all highlights. In one particular sequence, Roby gathered a rebound, dribbled the length of the court in transition, and finished with an opposite hand layup, showing off some surprisingly competent handles for a 6-foot-9 forward. Roby did well for himself by playing, and his draft stock seems to be rising as such 3 Quote Link to comment

ECisGod
More ESPN thoughts on Roby (and lots of other players). http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/26820017/nba-draft-stock-watch-pro-day-risers-big-early-entry-decisions Quote Isaiah Roby | Junior | PF | Nebraska Roby had a solid showing at the NBA combine and now has an interesting decision ahead of him at the deadline. According to sources, Roby is hoping to receive assurances that he will be picked in the top 40 in order to keep his name in the draft, something that might happen but could be difficult to guarantee three weeks before the draft. 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Good for him. And sensible. All of his teammates are gone, and he has the talent to take it to the next level. Hope he crushes it. And I hope he has one hell of a fun ride. 3 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
For the record, if this is really what he wants to do, he needs to do it. Good luck!! Quote Link to comment

I hate it when morons think the only league available for these guys is the NBA. Yes, the NBA is the top league in the world, but these players can play all over the world and make very good money. I know a guy who played a long career in Europe and he loved it. Quote Link to comment
