TGHusker
With friends (lawyers) like these who needs enemies. Equally good thing that Rudy didn't become president with reasoning like his. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/giuliani-comments-stormy-payment-raise-legal-questions-061531145.html After the article one person commented this appropriately: Quote Mike The Falopal Slayer 6 hr ago Mueller does not need to investigate, just let Trump and his Legal experts bring everything to the surface for him 1 Link to comment
TGHusker
Somehow this is related to the above in Trump's crazy world - the crazy world that he has brought us all into. Trump pays Pamela Anderson to be at his birthday party. Tell me you are surprised -...... no https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/pamela-anderson-says-donald-trump-paid-500-attend-birthday-party-hired-002559454.html 2 Link to comment

QMany
Quote "They said it wasn't true," Giuliani said. "However, imagine if that came out on October 15, 2016, in the middle of the last debate with Hillary Clinton. Cohen didn't even ask. Cohen made it go away. He did his job." It is obvious Giuliani hasn't practiced in 30 years, this statement does not help his client or Cohen. 1 Link to comment
BigRedBuster
So, I think I've seen in the media: a) Trump had an affair with Stormy b) Trump didn't have an affair with Stormy. c) Trump's lawyer paid Stormy for Trump d) Trump's lawyer didn't pay Stormy for Trump e) Trump paid lawyer back f) Trump didn't pay her back. So, now the plan is to just say ALL OF IT is fake news. That should cover it. Link to comment
TGHusker
Rudy walks back some of his comments. So to add to BRB comments - Rudy said he paid, Trump says Rudy is a new guy and still getting his talking points err facts correct. https://www.axios.com/giuliani-stormy-daniels-repayment-301c03ef-b9bf-4ffd-8d2a-5e4505247f03.html Why it matters: When Giuliani said admitted that Trump personally repaid Cohen for the hush-money, he may have opened up other potential legal problems for the president. Trump said earlier on Friday that Giuliani is "a great guy," but he's still getting his "facts straight" about the payment: "He just started yesterday." Politics Link to comment

And, it’s totally baffling why the President would put out to the media a spokesperson that obviously has no clue what he’s talking about. Its clear Trump is out of options. 1 Link to comment
NM11046
Yet the Rudy Show in the last week has totally distracted most from the Cohen case, which (I think) had a milestone yesterday about deciding what's priviledged info to view from the raid and what isn't (remember Don volunteered to read through all of it?). I don't believe they're smart enough to think this far ahead, I think instead just like Hannity and the Fox & Friends Rudy gets in Don's ear and tells him what he wants to hear and Don thinks "everybody needs to hear that I'm going to hire him". But it's been a convenient distraction from the Black Cube stuff, the Cohen stuff and more. 1 Link to comment

TGHusker
News bias can be shown by what a network choose what NOT to cover as much as their slant on what they do cover. Vox does a good job of showing how Fox has given political cover to Trump. I don't know if Muddock and Trump cut thumbs and rubbed the blood together but the blind loyalty to Trump is eye opening. Even if Trump were a great guy with great policies this kind of loyalty should never be tolerated. As much as Hannity, etc complain about the MSM's bias he over looks 2 things: 1. Fox is by shear size MSM and 2. The Fox bias still isn't justifiable even if MSNBC , CNN report the opposite or report what is perceived to be negative stories. From Vox https://www.vox.com/2018/5/8/17327246/fox-news-stormy-daniels-michael-cohen-data Quote The Stormy Daniels saga is becoming a massive story. It’s not only responsible for cornering President Trump into admitting to something that might be a violation of campaign finance law; it’s also turning into a cultural touchstone, with Daniels playing herself to Alec Baldwin’s version of Trump on Saturday Night Live. But to Fox News’s top pundit, Sean Hannity, the story is “old news.” And on much of the Fox News Channel, it’s not even old news; it’s barely news at all. Since the story broke in January, Fox News has given significantly less airtime to the Stormy Daniels story than other cable networks. Quote Fox News spent barely 1 percent of its airtime talking about Cohen in the days that followed. Surely Giuliani’s inadvertent revelation that the president of the United States may have potentially violated campaign finance law is a huge deal, right? On Fox News, not so much. 2 Link to comment
