Different personnel. The 4-3 seems to work better with Suh/Crick up front than with Meredith/Rome. Then again, I imagine most any defense would work better with Suh and Crick. Quote Link to comment

Good defense. Good defense is fun to watch. I think back to the 2009 Big 12 Championship, or even the 2009 season, and wonder what would have happened if we had even a decent offense. I remember watching games with friends, and we dreaded when the offense was on the field. We always joked Watson was keeping things vanilla to unleash all the good plays at the end of the year. Then they scored 33 or whatever it was against Arizona. Good times Quote Link to comment

Good times In 2009 with Ganz we are NC's running away......Amazing how one missing piece could've made all the difference in the world....That 2009 D was stout front to back. Quote Link to comment

Is that the same scheme bo ran as he lost all Callahan’s talent and began giving up some of the worst defensive performances that still stand today.....hey wait, I think Melvin Gordon just scored again 1 Quote Link to comment

macroboy
During that Texas game I looked at my buddy and said 'it makes me nervous when we have the ball.' He said 'yeah. I'm worried Texas will score.' Kind of a weird testament to how good that D was. Quote Link to comment
