i see a far right wing nut job gave me a laughing emoji for that last post.    :thumbs

I’m sure you got a laugh emoji because it’s funny you think McConnell hasn’t been critical of Trump in regards to Jan6  and that you  say he supported the riots :dunno

But hey way to keep up with the personnel attacks against others.

who was the personal attack against?   and McCarthy has said there will be investigations into why the jan. 6 defendants are going to prison.   i wonder why the families would refuse to shake hands with him.   and while McConnell has used words against trump....he never backs up those words with actions.  i wonder why the families wanted to avoid shaking his hand?

Why would he then think he needs to investigate why J6 rioters were going to jail?

But..but..but...I'm told Liz's political career ended because of not talking about issues.

she could have said that trump learned his lesson and then continue on never again mentioning jan. 6 unless she called it a witch hunt.   she would have won re election if she had followed the cowards path like most of the rest of the republican party.  instead she stood up against the guy who wants to dissolve the constitution and MAGA (and former MAGA) can't have that.

You specifically said McConnell and McCarthy supports the riots from Jan 6th.  Now back up the claim with facts.

You would have to send a link to what you are referring to.

they both spoke out against trump....then when push came to shove they took no actions.    actions count more than  words.   and they have even back tracked on some of the words they used against trump.

Tie these articles together.  Republicans view the rioters as patriots....so much so, that one presented a rioter with the flag that flew over the capital once she was released.  Republicans have stated that the investigators will be investigated.  McCarthy warns that the people investigating J6 will be investigated.  Newt even claims they will go to jail.

So since the discussion was centered around commando’s baseless accusation that McCarthy and McConnell supported the Jan 6 riots, here is the only thing you linked to in regards to either of those two.   It comes from your first link.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3757822-mccarthy-indicates-republicans-plan-to-investigate-jan-6-panel/

“It is imperative that all information collected be preserved not just for institutional prerogatives but for transparency to the American people,” McCarthy wrote in a letter to Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), the chairman of the select committee.

This doesn’t sound like a threat of investigating the investigators.  It’s sounds like a threat of wanting to release every transcript and interviews to the American public and not just snippets of interviews.

one other article is about Newt which quite frankly who cares what he thinks since he’s just trying to sell another book.

The other article deals with an outgoing member of Congress who should not be doing what he is doing btw.
