I wonder about the sanity of forcing a coach on a coach and then giving him your favorite job.  Unless the script is already written. Seems like a way to really aggravate someone.

Yea. Interesting but I believe Scott did the finding and hiring w Trev’s ok presumably.  All this staff cost big bucks.  Paying off the  former coaches and staff as well.  Now we will have to do it again.  
 

Lol.  NU has spent more $$$$ in the last 20 years literally paying people NOT to coach Nebraska football than it paid all the prior coaches combined in its entire history!!!  
 

Let’s hire the right people at reasonable terms with reasonable buyouts etc.  Set up reasonable goals and expectations for everybody.  Former Huskers, or not, give all applicants due consideration.  Whoever it is, Husker Nation needs to support the program and give the team positive encouragement.  The coaches need to do their jobs, be honest and give fans the straight story.  Open up the activities to reasonable transparency.  Too many secrets leads to wild speculation and negativity returns.
