  1. Final... Part 3 between @BigRedBuster and me ....
  2. All love and hate, but no real hate... Part 2
  3. @BigRedBuster (Chi Cubs fan) and me (Chi Sox fan) having a nice baseball chat here..... This would be our convo about Chicago Baseball teams...... (And yes I am technically a Ranger fan first most, but I also love the Sox too and stand on this island alone against the Cubbies).
  4. Essegian was a great get from Wisconsin. Sharp Shooter and can create his own shots. Immediate starter. I don't think he came here to be 6th man. I don't know about On3, but Griffiths from Rutgers was a 5 star and rated as the #20th rated HS recruit in 2022/2023 by 247. Ranked #1 in Connecticut - which is a pretty good hoop state. As a 6'8 scorer on the wing, I think Gavin Griffiths is the best get of the bunch. I am so glad we added these two scorers. But all of these new guys seem to be pretty nice pick-ups. Edit: Griffiths Ranked 20 by 247 Ranked 30 by Rivals Ranked 36 by ESPN Ranked 39 by On3 (and their super hard & mysterious ranking guidelines)
  5. Getting TJ would be huge! Keeping him here even moreso
  6. It's still early. Start in June or July. Give me the White Sox. Have a good feeling about them.
  7. What's next, eliminating fullbacks too ??!?
  8. That is athletically amazing !!! To put into context, he basically jumped from beyond the NBA 3-point line to the baseline. And he's 5'10

I agree 100% Since the 90s I've been waiting for the Chicago Bears to return to white jersey with white pants on the road, every year.
  10. Hartzog felt like a liability near the redzone. Not because of talent, but because teams could pick on him at 5'8. Also deep one-on-one matchups. If Hartzog was 6feet I'd feel better. I think Matt Millen said he was really short when he stood next to him, and looked 2-3 inches shorter than the listed 5'10. But, I think Hartzog is talented and does pretty good cleaning up on tackling. Might be more suited for FCS
  11. Love seeing 2AM getting flowers and having success. Kid gave his best to Nebraska and was all class the entire time. He dealt with the hard questions after every game, regarding losing close games, turnovers, being benched and even got his degrees at UNL. Even though it didn't exactly turn out the way we hoped, he's still one of my all-time Husker favorites.

  13. The reason why I prefer to see the Huskers play at 11am.... And hate when they play at 230pm.........Is the Networks And with the same tradition and format, the NBA screws the viewers the same way. Grrrrr Games are scheduled 2hrs and 30mins between games...... But aired on the same network/station. Grrrrr I don't like missing part of the first quarter because the previous game is dragging on with timeouts or overtime or post game interviews. I get amped up for the tipoff/kickoff.....for days..... But we get joined "in progress" halfway into the 1st quarter.... Grrrrr There has to be a better way to broadcast these back to back games. No offense to the previous game, but my whole day or week is amped up for the other game...... And you screwed me out of seeing the kickoff and tipoff.... /Vent
  14. Do any of yall remember 1992, Braves clinch World Series postgame? How times have never changed From the LA Times McCarver said the first time Sanders doused him, he was so shocked that he pulled a muscle in the right side of his back. After it happened a third time--while he was doing interviews--McCarver said he went in search of Sanders in the Braves’ clubhouse. “I didn’t know what I would do or say, but as I was going toward the middle of the clubhouse, Sanders was creeping up with another tub of water,” McCarver said during a conference call with reporters Thursday. “He said, ‘Where’s McCarver?’ and I said, ‘I’m right here.’ “He tried to hit me with another tub that missed me, and I said, ‘You know, Deion, you’re a real man, you are a real man.’ I thought it was a deliberate, cowardly act.” Deion Sanders, in a taped interview with TNT’s Ernie Johnson, said: “How can you be a coward for throwing water on someone? The guy just didn’t want us to win and we did. He just got a little wetter than anybody else. He’s flat-out ignorant. He’s more of a coward. I never met the man, and I never spoke to him in my life. We were just having a good time.” For the record, McCarver was not just the analyst during the broadcast, but was a Major League Catcher from 1959 to 1980.
