Yeah, it seemed interesting at first and then I realized I really don't mind paying to view stuff legally. I just wish there was a more all encompassing way to view everything more seamlessly and with fewer providers and options. Right now I have Comcast cable, Netflix, Amazon prime and Hulu and before football season starts I need to dump Comcast and get a streaming service so I can get BTN. Luckily I have kids and the folks here on HB that understand all this stuff better than I do.

I'm almost in the exact same boat, but with a few perks. I have Comcast internet with basic cable and HBOGO for free. I have Hulu TV (Which has BTN), Amazon Prime and Netflix. All together it runs me about $115 a month. Still way cheaper than getting cable with all those channels. I had planned on dumping Hulu after football season, but it  has a lot of good TV shows and movies to watch. I don't mind paying for things now. I mean, I have a job and everyone deserves to get paid for their work, so I'm fine with it. I just don't want to get screwed over by the big media corporations.

I get it. Comcast is the only one that I feel I'm getting prison sexed by....well, them and Verizon. Bad thing is I'll still have to maintain Comcast internet but they cram the rest up their can. Probably would've continued to overpay them forever but they went and screwed the pooch when they quit carrying BTN.
