Assuming you already have Saturday and Sunday off...what 3rd day would you pick if you could for another day off? Years ago I would say Friday but now...now I would take Monday.

Thursday.
Let's say you have two weeks of paid vacation.
That means you can have ten weeks out of the year where you have a 4 day weekend. Our company gives 6 weeks of vacation after you have been here a while. That would mean 30 weeks you have 4 day weekends.
On the weeks you don't take a vacation day, you work 3, 1 off, work one to finish up a few things and two off.
I could do that.

@BigRedBuster, can't you do the exact same thing by having Monday or Friday off instead of Thursday? Then you actually have more flexibility because you can use vacation on either end of the 3 day weekend to have a 4 day weekend

@RedDenver You could. I was also thinking though about the weeks where I didn't use vacation time. I would have 3 on 1 off, 1 on, 2 off.
Break up the week.
For the record, I think productivity with this schedule would suck. But....it would be nice personally.
