seaofred92
re-watching this Zion Perry has some shiftiness to him. Wouldn't mind him in a Husker uni: Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
https://twitter.com/NateClouse/status/832027867101933568 Is this a legacy kid? Brendan's (spelling?) son or relative? Quote Link to comment

spurs1990
Think Williams gets an offer eventually? He looks the part That's a pretty big offer pretty early. You'd think that he'd have other FBS schools follow meaning probably a low 3 star at least? You'd like to think that he'd get one, but with our scholarship number being so low I'm not sure. He also would have to compete with the other big name guys were are going after at that position too. Seems like he might be a Brett Kittrell type that we let go. Not that he'd necessarily be locked N if we offered him anyway. Seems like there are just too many names ahead of him when we only have spots for a few. 1 Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Man, this is going to be a tough one for the staff. You already have 1 in-state DT on the board and you have some other big names interested nationally. Plus the scheme change calls for less big boys up front. Tough to see Maspry and Williams ending up huskers unless we wiff on Trout, Avery, etc...or one/both can play DE. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
According to OWH Minny is also pushing hard. Iowa State regularly in contact also. UCLA sniffing around as they always do in this state. Huskers are in contact, just not as much as KState and Minny. Grew up in Nebraska but moved to Illinois before moving back his Freshman year. Did well at FNL last year. Parella started talking to him then. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Yeah, we may have worked ourselves into a tough spot here. Change of scheme put a crunch on the numbers and we may have jumped the gun a bit on Masry. Reports are Williams is the better player now and probably a safer bet while Masry may have a bit more upside but is more of a risk. Quote Link to comment

Definitely seems to be closer to the DT we need. Doesn't help the risk involved, though. The other possibility is Willaims might be able to play DE. Which would make it a little easier to take both but still tough with short numbers. Quote Link to comment
Making Chimichangas
Maybe I am off my rocker...but to me, quality/high caliber linemen (both O and D) should have a higher priority in recruitment than "skill" positions. Not saying this kid is high quality/caliber, just saying all things being equal, take the lineman over the WR. 1 Quote Link to comment
