He had to have given it to Rosenstein for review who then sent it on to the NY DA. I'm sure none of this was done in a vacuum, and that with our current environment all what if's were worked through in advance. I think the fact that they moved on it after all that probably is a big sign of the info that they have being quite significant. Link to comment

It also means that it's almost certainly not Stormy Daniels related which I believe is still a civil matter. It would have to be a significant criminal matter for a federal judge to sign off on it. A crime is a crime but no federal judge is going to authorize a raid like this over something trivial considering the target(s). Except my understanding is that priviledge goes out the window if the lawyer helped facilitate a crime. My question @Whistlebritches - would the Daniels thing be civil if it was determined to be a violation of campaign laws? I know at one time they were looking at the angles there. 1 Link to comment

Trump has probably changed his shorts by now and will start tweeting very soon. He may start by firing Sessions, hire Pruitt as AG who will fire the assistant AG and Mueller.
