Anyhow, I googled and the best guess based on her having abdominal issues is that she has colorectal cancer. Chadwick Boseman died of that at 43. She’s 42. But it may be that she’s not appearing in public merely because the chemo is hard on her and not because she’s at an advanced stage.

I don't know the ins and outs, but it has got to be a ton more money and commitment to sign a contract with a league (especially one that has broad appeal) to air regular season games. Always had good restaurant reviews, new nightlife spots, humorous articles, and decent sports coverage. It turned into a kind of rag of left wing ideals and nutty agenda pushing. Was sad to see it decline into that. I read it every week from 2002-2014. It became less fun and way too hacky. So I’ll take this story w a grain of salt.
