I don't think you can label them paper tigers. They were picked 5th in the conference preseason, and just won the B1G tournament and made a regional. They've over achieved, and it has already been a successful year relative to realistic expectations.

The Internets tell me that most turbine hubs in Iowa are about 300 feet tall. Assuming wind resistant of a falling object that size is mostly negligible it should take about 3 seconds for it to hit the ground. 300ft=91.44 meters t=√(91.44/9.81)=3.05 seconds. The shaft buckles at 1:11 and the hub appears to land at about 1:14.

I like your imagination. I can see Haarberg playing a role since he is so athletic, and he appeared to be a passing threat in the spring game. I can see Rhule replacing Raiola with Haarberg on fourth and one with him running a zone read with Nelson in the backfield with the threat of leaping over the top. Even if Raiola starts I can see Rhule still getting Haarberg some snaps behind center.
