  1. Correct me if I am wrong, but he would have to sit out if he went to another school (D1), and since he wouldn't be on the roster, he wouldn't be burning a year of eligibility if he were to come back next year... Let me specify. He can find another program/university to join/enroll, and keep practicing and developing instead of taking an entire year off. Losing out on the practicing, S&C, and film study will set him further back. Just my opinion for his particular situation
  2. I'd dip if I were him. Sitting around for a full year, burning a year of eligibility waiting to return isn't worth it.
  3. Maybe Johnny Stanton over takes TA for starting QB and TA transfers
  4. Any word on Paul Thurston? He was a big get and should be competing for pt.
  5. Barrett Ruud on Richard Sherman: I Loved It

  6. LEGION of BOOM, LESDODIS HAWKS!

  7. I hear what you're saying, but the positive difference is no family on current roster. Todd and Andrus were "best friends" one year and then "never talked about his recruitment" the next when it came down to Andrus' turn. If Todd's freshman year went better, there would've been no doubt Andrus followed.
  8. Nailed it. Control the LOS, control the game. Blessing in disguise that younger OL got significant PT. With JRs to be and JUCOs, they'll need to gel quick, but dang the depth is finally building with last years class and incoming. Hope the DL can pan out and continue to grow. For all the Darius Slade's, Dominic Walker's, Harrison Beck's, Aaron Green's, Leon Jackson's, Chase Rome's, there are Avery Moss', Spencer Long's, Rex Burkhead's, Enunwa's that are plucked up and make us forget about high profile guys not making it, panning out, and not making it bigger than what their roll at NU would be. Can't dwell on what was never to be. Speaking of Harrison Beck, he briefly started over a 2* athlete out of HS named Russell Wilson. So take that argument back to Jariah Tolbert thread haha. Anyway, no disrespect, but so long Slade and leave your 'bones at the door.

He should just agree to bring some illegal drugs back across and they'll let him go.

Has he tried bribing the "official holding him? I had to pay some guy $20 to get out of Venezuela quite a few years ago. Serious.

  11. Please no more alt unis. I'll concede to throwbacks, but these last two years have been nothing but an eyesore.
  12. Does someone mind PMing me what happened with Sanders? Thanks in advance.
  13. But... we're the fans. We are entitled to know everything that goes on the minute it happens, blah blah blah... The state pays him millions of dollars yada yada yada
  14. Go Hawks. -Russell Wilson

Wilson is for real. Great decision maker. Had Wilson another year at Wisconsin, would they have been NC? I think it would have been very possible. Great player.

That was Wiscy's chance. Basically were two Hail Marys away from getting there.

  15. Holy crap, that's my friend/roommate from college. Where did you find that pic? That's both random and awesome. Google search olde English 40s, look thru image search.
  16. I think that came from some of the players when they were discussing Raymond's first year here. I think they were also more aggressive under Sanders. Sometimes I feel Pelini has a similar problem. He held back Philip Dillard and was really hard on Lavonte. I can understand a coach being hard on a player bc he thinks mentally they can take it and have the want to improve. As for the other Philip Dillard's in the program, his pride gets in his way.
  17. He's also the guy that took a cheap shot on Brian Cushing and tore his ACL on a BS chop block.
  18. I prefer Brass tacks myself. swear to god that's how I spelt it Hmmm...spell check from tacks to tax? Not sure I'm believing that. Just bustin ya. lol P.S. Guessing you spelt spelled wrong on purpose, right? spelt is accepted vernacular! Threw that in there to keep ya going. Does this brass tax you speak of provide us the type of french benefits this program needs!?!?
  19. Hindsight is 20/20 but what's worse, a DB coaching carousel or paying big bucks to keep a good coach/recruiter around?
