I don’t think Holding penalties are the only questionable calls we face. Maybe I was too young to know, but for some reason I thought it was the same in the 80s and 90s, where they had to *beat* the refs too?

Smells Like Teen Spirit...my HS was in the same league as the school where that was filmed - Cobain’s HS in Aberdeen WA. A small, rainy blue-collar town right by the coast. It was a little crazy as a 3rd grader when my classmate showed up in black and Cobain t-shirt mourning his death. I won’t forget that, the guy was a legend to grunge culture and a junkie to others. 

I think smoking a turkey is worth it every year. Hands down, I like it more for leftover sandwiches, but I wouldn’t smoke one in place of baking - need to have a proper stuffing.

Can’t allow home field advantage to the schools who don’t want to live in fear.

Yeah I hear that and you are correct too, there is just criticism which you referenced. However, some of the criticism I’ve seen comes from a “who the hell is this guy anyway” attitude, which is why I made the comment. If I were to defend his timing on missing announcements, it would be due to influencers delaying the messaging. My opinion is that since they plan to get the season going they opted to wait until NFL games ran its course so they could have the spotlight. Glad Carter stole it. 

Echo that @commando, leaves or grass. It’s recommended during the fall, but at this point of summer it won’t hurt to re-plant now and begin watering.  @man eating mastodon

Tank 7 and Psuedosue are a couple of my favorites. Fairy Nectar is a good Nebraska IPA. If you come across a Georgetown Brewery (Seattle), then I recommend trying the Bodhizafa, which has blown up in WA. People might be more familiar with their other brew, Manny's, which is darn good too. Mac and Jack’s African Amber is pretty solid, I miss those PNW beers. 

Sounds like a...healthy decision. 

Time heals! Part of me can’t believe this guy is getting back in the ring. 

I hate the ties, but I really like the relegation factor.

Grocery store - leaving your cart unattended just felt wrong

8th grade party - it was at this girls house who had a bunch of friends over from our class. Just blew it up and one of the girls walked in shortly after. Oh well

I have been gifted a Shun; chef, boning, and santoku knives over the past several years. I freakin love them. My Dad is the cook in the family, so I bought him a whet stone for Father’s Day last year and it has been quite useful. I was unsure which one to purchase, so I just went with a less expensive one that had solid reviews.

Man, I remember watching Santos run onto the field late for that goal line fumble he caused. The dude’s head was turned looking back at the safety when the ball was snapped, he just reacted and made a helluva play. Cold game, but fun
