NU isn't going to give up home games - so an away game was the only option. Can't see one of the top 4 or 5 schools in the BIG giving up home field advantage against NU. Guessing Illinois will get paid well and NU Athletics will mostly break even - with this working out best for NU traveling fans.

or just realize that those younger guys have potential and be patient. If good young guys get dinged up and play like that for 4 years they have terrible careers (case in point - TMagic). Playing young lineman is not the answer.

Everything you have stated in this thread - is true from a long-term standpoint. I think SF knows we need a majority of our class to be 4* and better, however he also knows that he needs to build a culture first. If you bring in the right kind of kids that are willing to fight and then each year you upgrade the talent level then you have something 6 years down the road. TO was the best at finding kids that hadn't matured yet and after 2 or 3 years in the correct culture became resources for the team.

Kids don't want to live in the old traditional dorms. There are a lot of students that aren't "ordinary" when it comes to funds and then their are a lot of "ordinary" parents that will spend money they don't have for their kids. The "new" dorms fill up way faster then the "old" ones. You will continue to see the old buildings come down to make way for new ones.
