Sounds like it might have been a nuclear powered missile. USA built one in the '50s but abandoned it because it let off radiation. Probably not a concern for Russia.

#1stWorldProblemRant: a lot of people in the 55+ demo must not know what AirPods are. People at my work (including complete strangers) will try to strike up polite conversations with me when I have them in.
I mean, it's obvious they're headphones, right? Which comes with the innate understanding that the person is probably listening to something, yeah? Is it because they're hard to see? What other reason would a stranger have for trying to tell me why they're tired after walking for 15 minutes on a treadmill in the company gym??? This kind of stuff happens far too often.And the worst is when I'm actually having a phone conversation on them. People can hear me talking and they try to interrupt. It's like they think I'm talking to myself.

What if I told you that Nebraska's game against tOSU last year had the makings of a convincing win (17-24 pts) favoring the Big Red. I really hope the self inflicting play is behind this program. It would make all the difference.

Milwaukee or DeWalt? Which brand do you prefer?

I use Milwaukee and Ryobi. I had a bad Ryobi battery that only took one charge. Home Depot replaced it with a bigger battery which killed the trimmer. Repairmen said it probably overheated because the bigger battery allowed the trimmer to be ran longer. No parts available so they shipped me a new trimmer. The repairmen told me what Toe said as far as manufacturing. Not much trouble with the Milwaukee tools.

I thought this electric car looked interesting. Single seat, three wheel, 100 mile range, 85 mph, $15k. Not sure how it would do in snow being rear (single) wheel drive but it’s made by Canadian company.

A coworker got his Model 3 a couple months ago. No gauge cluster, just a touch screen display. Overall quality was very good, auto navigation (stage 2) and other electronic gadgetry were cool and impressive. I asked him to pop the hood to look at the motor. It was just a trunk with windshield wiper fluid refill. I don't know if they have hydraulic brakes or steering but probably mechanically simpler than a gas engine and definitely a hybrid. The price has to come down as the federal rebate tapers off. I have doubts that the replacement battery cost will come down. Even if your work provides free charging, the price of the car plus battery makes for more expensive transportation which is only practical for work commuting. Leasing could be the smart way to go until maintenance cost data becomes available. Probably the only place to get them worked on is at a Tesla dealership. The Tesla was like seeing into the future and makes me think most cars will be electric in 20 years.
