250? DT? I know he's a senior in high school, but unless he's all muscle at 250 I don't know about DT. Sure he can grow into it, but we need big ol' boys who plug gaps in the interior and can bull rush one on ones. It's gonna take a lot of mass to get to that 300 lb area if he's to be a DT.

If we're going to make a run at anything, next year is the time to do it. We're stacked on offense and our schedule is more than favorable.

I just don't think Beck has the "CEO" type experience required for the position. Bo doesn't either - in the past he's compensated for it by putting a solid defensive product on the field. We've all let it slide. But to be a "complete" program we need this - either Bo growing into it or us finding it elsewhere. I think it starts here. It's the 1st part of the job description. We've pushed it down towards the bottom lately. When you hear NFL execs talk about Chip Kelley's potential as an HC at the next level...it's not the wins/losses they are talking about - it's how he runs his program and his practices. Sometimes I feel like Bo doesn't run the program, he's just along for the ride. I agree with zoogies on this. I would consider Beck for a 2 year contract if Bo left. I think having Beck would help keep our players more so because our current players know him. I also think it would help for the guys we have committed this year stay on board for the most part. But really I don't know about this whole Tennessee thing.

Is this even the same schedule now that Maryland and Rutgers are in our conference? Things are gonna be tweaked conference wise now right?

I feel encouraged about guys like Vincent Valentine, Michael Rose, Jared Afalava, Thomas Brown, Greg McMullen, Charles Jackson.. then look at some of guys we've recruited. Josh Banderas, Randy Gregory, Marcus McWilson, Marcus Newby, Courtney Love, A.J. Natter... This is some really good young talent. We won't know for sure until the hit the field. But I am optimistic.

It is amazing how people bitch about coaches with no experience and people want Frost as an OC. Makes no sense. You're right. I should clarify. I like Tim Beck as our OC. If he'd leave for another coaching position, I would consider Scott Frost. But right now, I do like Tim Beck.

If Scott wanted to come back here, he'd be here right now. The thing is is he has been here and knows how it is. Remember how he was treated throughout 96 and early 97 when people though we were entitled to NC's as we are still now. You think he wants anything to do with that atmosphere again? I say no. I say yes. Scott's a competitive guy. I think he'd welcome the challenge. Also, aside from bringing the Oregon O with him. Scott Frost can recruit.

And it wasn't even that close if you watched the game. I did watch it. When I was watching Nebraska last night, the KSU game is exactly what went through my head.

I was pretty mad during the first half.. then i just kind of accepted the fact that it is what it is. No need becoming depressed over a game. With that, I am a Bo supporter and I'll continue to be all the way to next season. I'm not going go throwing out the notion we need to fire our Head Coach who won 10 games this season. I, we all do, expect Bo to fix this problem and make changes where they're needed. But the point of this thread is right. Lets not go over the deep end and start blazing away firing coaches and demanding change right now. We took a step back, now lets make sure we take a couple steps forward next game. Look at Kansas State. #1 team in the country. Lost to a 7-5 Baylor. 52 -24 and Bill Snyder may be coach of the year.
