i hope someone passes Ankrah on the depth chart, i know a lot of the things defensive linemen do dont show up on the stat sheet but this guys numbers havent been very good hopefully he can pick up his performance next year because he seems like a good guy i've never heard a bad thing about him

320+ lbs is a big guy, I'm wondering though how well and quick he will be able to move around. i was wondering the same thing, also whether or not he could be an every down guy it kind of reminds me of johnathan hankins from ohio state it tokk him a while to become a every down player because of conditioning

First of all I am still a Bo supporter, but my support for him and this staff is on thin ice right now. These kind of post game quotes like "we didn't execute," or "it's part of the process," or worse "I don't have the answers for that" are becoming just as inexcusable and unacceptable as his teams performances or lack thereof in these big game blow out losses. i would like Bo to tell us how long the "process" of building this program is suppose to take

I completely agree with you! You have to give Bo credit, the man does have a very good defensive scheme for stopping the pass, but his scheme for stopping the run is in drastic need of some help. Coaches exchange ideas all of the time, and I think if Bo talks to Saban it would be a great trade off for both teams. Bo teaches Saban some of his pass defense ideas, while Saban tells Bo why he uses a 1-Gap Cover 1 Defense instead of a 2-Gap Cover 2. Who knows if this will happen or not, but one can hope right? i dont think saban's d-coordinator kirby smart needs any help stopping the pass that defense is pretty stout against the pass and the run as well

i wouldnt say that we KNOW that Bo can acquire the pieces that 09 defense were guys from the previous regime, but you're right i dont think Bo has lost the team, recruiting needs to pick up you cant afford to miss on guys it really shows up when guys go down and you dont have any one behind him capable of stepping up and even though i love the history of the walk on program you cant honestly hope to compete with elite teams or even the best teams in the confrence while starting as many walk ons as this team has the last few years

you know a lot more about recruiting than i do so i'll ask you, what did he do in the offseason that was so great i know he started having more junior days and big red weekend but all the big boy schools have those so i wouldnt say thats very original and what big name guys did we get out of big red weekend, with more and more elite recruits committing early like their junior years and in the summer we need to get more out of recruiting before the season starts
