    Personally I think it's a talent thing. Stoll and Jurgens are just better.

    To be fair I do think Stoll was a pretty clear #1 and obviously Jurgens was as well. I think not having both of them causes a pretty vast change of plans at both positions

    I definitely don't disagree talent is part of it but it seemed like majority of the first season, we had an identity on offense and would call plays to setup the following plays. This year, a lot of times it feels like we're just throwing s#!t at the wall and seeing if it sticks.

    I think tempo is part of it but it's like the play calling has gotten significantly worse since year 1. I don't get it

    We haven't done anything to deserve having them think otherwise. Plus we tend to prove the analysts right more times than not when we have hype, so I'm fine with it. I think we will be much improved over last year and will not be the worst team in the B1G.

    That was part of it. The other part I believe was his running style. He doesn't have bad stats looking back but IIRC, there was a lot of groaning about him not being able to find the hole.
