  1. I dunno - the level of talent at A&M at QB is pretty impressive. I can't honestly say I would blame him for wanting to contribute someplace else.
  2. Not much else needs to be said. Fix it in 2016, or we'll be doing this all over again. Holy cow. That is horrible.
  3. The only problem I have with this is that waiters/waitresses base wage is well below minimum wage - it shouldn't be. With that said, it was a stupid move by the waiter to insult his customer. If he was offended, Reilly's complaint should have gone to management.
  4. A kid is a kid, regardless of what he/she is doing. An 18 or 20 year old soldier is still a kid. Being a soldier does not somehow bypass your brain development. By your standard, there would be no such thing as child soldiers.
  5. Yeah, 5-7 sucks, but hope springs eternal. I liked the way we finished the season and think there will be better times ahead for the this team and for this staff.

  6. GameDay is always on Saturday GamedaY is always on Sunday, Gameday is always on a day I'm not sure that Gameday is actually a word, but if it were, it would definitely be a noun.
  7. If I recall correctly, Morgan looked like he was behind the coverage on that throw, but Armstrong was nowhere close to getting enough on the ball to complete it to him. Was Morgan too far downfield at that point? That play seemed pretty uncharacteristic of Armstrong, even given his tendency of trying to go for a home-run when a single would do. It was nowhere close to working.
  8. Love reading the comments. "That was on 4th down on their final drive." Really? I don't think there was a fourth down on that last drive, was there? Nope - not one that I remember.

  10. On the positive side: "Calhoun, who remains a half-sack behind Julian Peterson for No. 2 on the MSU career list, with 24 1/2, after his least impactful game of the season, vowed that he'll respond. He said Nebraska "has a great offensive line" but that MSU's defensive line must "get back there and create havoc."
  11. You got this! GBR!!
  12. ESPN game summary says they were at the 41, so a 58 yard field goal. Their kicker's career long was 49 yards and he has never attempted anything over 50. Their kicker looked pretty good in warm ups, but if he hadn't attempted a 50+ FG before, a hail mary attempt probably would have been their best bet then (assuming :01 remained). MSU didn't show much of a deep threat most of the game - I think I like our odds in that case. With our pass defense? I'm glad he threw it away with no time left. Heh. Yeah, me too. It was nice to see that we had some pressure on Cook that play - his pocket was collapsing which seemed to be a factor causing him to hold on to it longer than he wanted to.

  14. It was an absolutely electric environment at the stadium Saturday night. What a game! We needed that.

Man, it was fun! We did need that, badly.

Way to go, guys! It gives us a huge homefield advantage to have Memorial rockin' like that.

  15. I think they were on the 40 yard line or so. Would have been a *long* field goal attempt, but not necessarily impossible. There wasn't much wind to contend with.
  16. Amen brother. We'll be there as there as well. This is our house. This is our team. They need us.
  17. It would be nice to generate some semblance of a pass rush to make Cook as uncomfortable as possible.
  18. It's nice to see such a statement coming from Pettit. Things look bleak right now, but give the staff time to instill what they are trying to instill.
  19. Yes, next season will be better, and Riley & Co will still be here.
  20. Maybe we should just cut out the middlemen and have the coaches play each other. Good coaches would win. Bad coaches would lose. Simple and straightforward.

  21. So is this the story of Nero, sitting idly by as Rome burns, or is it the story of Chicken Little, running around in hysterics thinking that the sky is falling?
