  1. I agree. As much as I hate to admit it, their defense looks overwhelming.
  2. The only way we get it together is if Moiraine stops watching. #neverblue
  3. Georgia Fans are passionate. Wooo we won. Defense saved our asses, always love a good defensive game.
  4. I feel like the key to victory lies in Moiraine not watching the game. #neverblue
  5. Yeah, apparently they (we), Georgia Fans completely took over the Cubs game where Vince Dooley threw out the first pitch. Apparently, Nebraska broke NDs psyche in 2000, hoping Georgia has at least 40000 in the stands, since red seems to be their kryptonite.
  6. Aw, it'll be ok. For the run I'm gonna say Ozigbo on third down or Pierson-El on a reverse.
  7. I could toss you in a lake instead.
  8. Make sure you're sitting at the proper distance. Personally, after so many years of fuzzy, garbled football, just thankful to have a clear digital picture. There's a 4k tv in the living room though. https://referencehometheater.com/2013/commentary/4k-calculator/
  9. Hope I see some nice footwork, technique, and conditioning from these guys. They're gonna need it.
  10. This is no good. Needs to have Larry The Cable Guy, bratwurst, and Hefeweisen.
  11. NO. Not Larry, Nebraska's prodigal son. Show some respect for the creator of the College Football Playoffs.
  12. I live in Nebraska and work as a State of Nebraska Security Officer. Other places I've lived include Texas, Portland Oregon, Orlando Florida, Petal Mississippi, Bemidji Minnesota, the Republic of Panama, Ft. Meade Maryland , Atlanta and Athens Georgia. In my free time I like to do as little as possible.
  13. It's a sad day when the team loses the fans. You might enjoy this link, Mich, I know I did. http://florida.247sports.com/Board/14/Contents/Jordan-Scarlett-Rick-Wells-suspended-from-all-team-activities-106672338
  14. How can they expect to protect this house, as the kids say, when a sniper can see them from a mile away.
  15. Indiana better than expected. Moiraine had ants in her pants til mid point of third. Might be a Hoosier in disguise.
  16. The Red Wolves give the Huskers more than they want, but the blackshirts keep them in it. The Oline gels in the second half, and Nebraska pulls away late 31-21. Iowa rides a cowboy, justifying those vastly overpaid coaching salaries. FSU Bama a defensive struggle. Bama won't cover. 14-10 Bama. Florida overrated, but not their defense, who will keep them in it until the fourth quarter. GT stings UT, turning Butch Jones seat from hot to molten. Badgers win convincingly. Yosef puts the fear of the mountains into UGA, but a top ten defense, and a better than expected O line, allow Georgia to escape late. 31-24.
  17. I'm a little late to the party but wanted to add my two cents. The processor isn't as important to upgrade as it used to be. If you're only going to game, an i5 is plenty. I've got an i5 3570k overclocked to 4.2ghz and it still isn't a bottleneck. However, if you do more intensive stuff like 3d rendering, by all means, go for virtual cores. You want to have a great PSU especially if you want to future proof. I mean you can always buy another one, but why not have a great one out of the gate. Go for bronze rated at a minimum and shoot for gold or plat. rated if possible. All that means is it delivers more of the rated power. As for monitors, I refer VA and MVA monitors for the eye candy, and the tech is getting better so there's not too much of a drop off in response time between those and an ips panel. My computer is getting a little old, but I'll post specs since we're all being nerds here. NZXT phantom 410 case in white kingston hyper-x 240gb ssd 2 1tb seagate 7200rpm mass storage drives corsair xms3 ddr3 1600 ram 16gb Silverstone Silver 600w bronze 80+ PSU intel i5 ivy bridge 3570k oc@4.2 nvidia gtx 970 msi gaming edition msi z77a -gd55 MB coolermaster evo 212 cooler There's my setup from the last apartment. Too dark in here for a more recent pic, but all the equipment is the same. Monitor is on a white folding table that i tuck in the back when I'm using the big screen.
  18. Most of the free stuff is of middling effectiveness. It's much better than nothing at all, but with a decent gap between that and a paid product. I've found avast to be fairly good. Malware Bytes is good too, you want to run Malware Bytes in tandem with a full anti-virus program. I also use CC cleaner. It's not so much for anti virus, but it can repair corrupted registry files, clean up your computer, create space, speed things up, etc.
  19. I'll only buy a Duke if he's from Hazzard. Going back in the opposite direction, using original NES and SNES controllers as an adult is somewhat cumbersome.
  20. I feel a bit like a fraud. Currently we have Cox Essential which I guess is btn, btn alt, fox, foxsports, fsl, pmsespn etc. It's included in the rent so might as well use it, Vue was nice though, if I was paying for this cable it'd be $80 plus taxes fees and charges.
  21. Yeah I realize that, since every channel is digital now. It's just, I was surprised you can pick up channels without even an actual antennae, and amazon's "biggest seller" is a plastic square about the size of a mouse pad. granted, the range is only 25-100, but was still pretty funny.
