  1. They're actually 6th in rushing in 2020, if you'd bother to read. They were 10th in 2019, hence the improvement I brought up. You missed it again.
  2. There were 19 total 5 star QBs between 2010 and 2018. That's 2 per year. https://247sports.com/Article/Five-star-quarterbacks-are-transferring-at-staggering-rate-across-college-football-146133402/
  3. An interesting thought here. Knowing what we know now about Nebraska, would you fire Jim Harbaugh? 49-22 overall.
  4. How many more have transferred just from Nebraska and not done a thing? I view it as very similar to JUCO. You might find a couple but it's not the answer. There are reasons kids are in the portal or at JUCO. If we want to fix the culture, which I don't even know what that means anymore, it won't be through the portal. According to this more than half of transfers never even land in the same level of football again. https://247sports.com/Article/College-football-transfer-portal-2020-numbers-stats-purgatory-147042840/
  5. That is what they said yes. I would expect Rutgers or Michigan. And I'm just waiting for the epic meltdown that would ensue here if Vedral defeats Nebraska in that game. I would like to play Michigan personally.
  6. I'd be more encouraged than I am now. Especially if the o line plays well. There won't be any bowl game for Nebraska to go to though, they have already begun to be canceled. I also have a sneaking suspicion that the MN gets canceled too. The Purdue game plus maybe that end weekend is probably all we get. My money would be on just Purdue if we keep having teams with outbreaks.
  7. We do have a bit more to go on, besides the 1-0 record Tucker has versus Frost. They both have 5 games this year in the same conference, Tucker is 3-2 and Frost is 1-4. They both played NW, Tucker won and Frost lost. They both lost to Iowa. Two more common opponents, Ohio State and Penn State, to come. Not saying either of you is right or jumping in the middle, I just like to see more data.
  8. Nascar drivers turn corners too, they just always turn left and end up right back where they were.
  9. That's a funny argument when they are rushing for 35 more yards per game and scoring 6 more points per over last year. 9th in scoring offense last year and 4th this year. 2019: 2020:
  10. I thought we were only talking about the one snap on the video, not all of em. I agree about the crap snaps.
  11. The clap would explain the timing of the snap, making him snap it too early. It in no way explains hitting the QB in the ankles or throwing it over his head. That is all on Jurgens, you're exactly right.
  12. It's been a rough start, but if you can prove to us you can adapt this can still go the way you want. Here are some things that seem fairly obvious to those watching, but may not seem so obvious to you: 1. Hire a full time special teams coordinator, who can make in game adjustments. ST can often be the difference between winning in losing, especially in the B1G, as you have seen two years running versus Iowa. 2. Get rid of your QB coach in order to accomplish #1. The quarterbacks are thinking too much, and you both seem to still think Luke McCaffrey belongs in that room. There was a reason NU was the only school who said he could be a QB. You gave him his shot, as I'm sure you promised him you would, now get him in the RB or WR stat. He can be a great Husker, but not at QB. 3. Hire a new offensive line coach. It has become obvious the offenses largest issue is the line. The poor snaps kill everything you're trying to do, and severely impact your QBs. Also, you have to bench kids for more than one series for them to actually learn anything. 4. Learn how to recognize when you're being stubborn, and when it's hindering growth on your team. Refer back to numbers 2 and 3. 5. Let your offensive coordinator coordinate. Don't overpay your WR coach under the guise of being a coordinator. 6. Don't alienate your players by blaming them, the buck stops with you. Period. See #7. 7. Be the CEO. You're not a coordinator anymore, act like it. Learn what goes on in all 3 phases. I never want to hear that you missed something on ST or defense because you were trying to call plays again. Even if it happens, it's on you, so own it and do better. We are all still behind you, but even Nebraska fans have our limits. You've been doubted before in Lincoln, so let's see it. 2021. No more excuses. GBR.
  13. Adrian can make all the throws, he has the yips. Luke can make none of the throws that Adrian just did on that drive. I don't like the QB swapping, leave Martinez in to try and get rhythm but put Luke on the field with him at RB, or at WR.
  14. Adrian has QB PTSD and Luke throwing the ball makes me want to puke. Apologies to all wounded ducks in the world.
  15. The biggest issue I see right now is the offensive line. Nothing timing wise happen well with bad snaps and they are a sieve. No wonder the whole offense sucks.
  16. The only ones who look down on you at this point are morons or people who don't want to admit reality. I'm excited there is a game in this conference in which things are brewing into a rivalry. Should be fun in the future. Best of luck today. GBR.
  17. I hate to tell you, but in deciding big picture things no one gives a s%^+ about the baseball program.
  18. What kind of a conspiracy is that?
  19. If Nebraska hopes to have a chance: O: Martinez D: Run Defense (Nebraska) Most likely: O: Goodson (Iowa) D: Defensive Line (Iowa)
  20. If McCaffrey starts I will turn the TV off. I will of course turn it right back on, but that would cement in my mind that Frost is too stubborn for his own good. Luke isn't a college QB, and I don't think he ever will be. Opposing DC's are salivating if he is starting. Iowa would be jumping routes and having someone spy when he runs. It would not be pretty. We have a chance to beat Iowa with Adrian at QB, we have none with Luke.
  21. Yeah, it's a sellout streak not an attendance one.
  22. Not about pure brute strength no, but you can tell when someone is overthrowing to make up for it not coming easy. That person also can't get it 35 yards downfield with any sort of accuracy or timing which is what I see with Luke. I'm really not sure why he would ever be a QB unless he was promised a shot at the position in order to commit. I hope we can convince him to stay at another position but I don't get the feeling it's headed in that direction.
  23. It's absolutely arm strength, it's glaringly obvious he can't make the throws needed.
  24. Let's be honest, we can judge the OC because it's Frost. Lubick is the WR coach and gets more time clearly. The most troublesome thing are the comments about how Frost was thinking about plays and missed the error leading to the fake punt, the personnel issues on special teams etc. What else is he missing by only paying attention to the offense? What is going on in practice? That's unacceptable to me after he chose to not hire a full-time ST coordinator. He's mostly ignoring 2 sides of the ball still, and the one he is paying attention to is the worst. These are giant red flags folks, I hate to say it.
