I was running on the treadmill while watching the game. The two on Martinez are as much line issues. Those were sacks that were not blocked well. The punt also hit 1-2 feet away from the foot ... that was bad luck/call. Martinez has to handle the ball better when putting it away. Yep, color me concerned ... the same issues keep popping up.

To be honest, I thought Pap did alot better job coaching in the second half then Bo did. :-)

FLU, I understand. And say, I have the Huskers with 8 wins this season ... and I had us winning the UCLA game 60-14. :-) I had us by a couple of TD's before the season and with all that was on the line and the recruiting needs I thought we would show up. Didn't happen. Before the season I had us losing to ASU ... and today my prediction is ASU 41 - Huskers 31. I think we can pull it out today but I don't have us winning in my prediction. For myself ... I've found myself "misunderstood" in so many ways ... I'm a recoving former "Pastor" here ... so, I only say what said cause I can relate to the tension you feel on this board from my experiences in life ... both past and present. Sports, faith ... politics ... I believe my view is CORRECT on a lot of things ... but I certainly don't feel much love ... although I try to give love and respect to those who cast their stones. I don't have a problem with WHAT FLU says. I know he bleeds RED! As always and as I've submitted to him before ... it's "HOW" he says it and then ... it always comes back to HIM ... rather then the Huskers. It's like his posts pit himself against everyone else. In it all ... it seems like HE has to be RIGHT ... atleast that is how it comes across to me. In the end ... I'm here as a fan ... sharing what I see and think ... if I'm wrong ... fine ... but you won't hear me braggin' about anything when I'm CORRECT and you when I'm wrong I'll say so and be GLAD. Personally, I'm not here to be RIGHT ... this board adds to my fan experience. I doubt I add a whole lot of "insight" into the depths of X's and O's or recruiting insight. Finally, I'm not even saying that the above is FLU's intention ... it's just how he comes across ... to me ... and my perception is that others have the same feeling ... thus the RUB. I don't care to be the "Poster of the Year" because I say something FLU likes ... but I post this publicly in hopes the he atleast knows why he rubs some the wrong way at times. I like what skersfan said and agree with him. Just adding my two cents.

So, I keep checking back on this thread and all anyone is going on is a tweet "wanna-be" journalist? Correct? No offense to the tweet. Just don't want to get worked up and read all this "venting" over nothing. Sometimes I wonder if the enemy is UCLA, ASU ... or my fellow Husker fan on Huskerboard.

Didn't vote. I guess Husker Nation is trying to kill our recruiting by jumping ship on Bo. To me, your not my kind of Husker fan to have a poll like this two games in and or to say give an opinion on the topic. Hey, it was a bad game. Give UCLA some credit as well.

What's this program coming to if we can't talk about a coaching change after a 650 yard, inferior to an unranked team whoopin?? Not a fan of a new poster to the board who raises this sort of question a couple of days after a bad loss. It is "trool-like". I debt consider you a fan or having any care or concern for this board. I don't have a problem with these kinds of statements FLU ... or your original post. I guess what you are saying is ... the reason we lost to UCLA the other day is that over past 25 years we "barely crack the Top 25 in recruiting every year". I sincerely disagree. The issue in the loss had nothing to do with talent. Secondly, the bigger problem I have with your statement and the original post is that it comes a day or so after a loss. To me, I owe it to my team which is now two games early into the season to support them as they try to figure it out. The last thing they need to hear from me is how the reason they are losing is because they are not Top 25 talent and they don't have an "elite" coach.

Tell me what kind of "ethics" and "morality" you believe these coaches listed have in relation to the former and current NCAA recruiting rules? Ya, they seem to get the players I want ... but how do they get them and what do they do with these scholarships if they "under perform" or have the next great player?

Enjoyed the read. Spot on. We are as bad as I thought we were (conference speaking) ... I'm more hopeful for our Huskers still.
