What if Nebraska has TWO games canceled this year?
Gage County replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
Sounds like B-CU has a Shawn Eichorst of their own. -
I think there were 3 in the first half where they cut to the action after the snap. They made some half time adjustments and didn't do it in the second half. And yes, they didn't show replays on some of the more important plays. Drives me friggin crazy.

Now do Ohio St., they're the 16th most penalized team in the nation.

6. We have 7 total yards of punt returns, averaging .58 yards per return. We have to shorten the field, that'll put more big plays on the scoreboard.

One reason OSU is a transfer designation is they're on a quarter system that has their classes starting so late. The "Last Day to Add a Fall Term Course Online with Dept. Approval" was Oct 7th. So a transfer can use the 4 game red shirt rule, get enrolled, and start their transfer sit-out year. (At least that's how I understand it.)

Coming into the season, Morgan needed 10 TD recpt to tie Rodger's career record. I think he has 1 this year. Doesn't look likely but I'm still rooting for him to do it.

Sometimes you have to beat all 18 guys on the field. The B1G is awful in this regard. I live in Michigan, both teams bitch about it all the time. It not just us.

Even fast food restaurants are talking trash now.

Wendy's was the first commercial after Whisky's field goal. Coincidence? -
It really sounds like some Grade A self sabotage. He probably doesn't want to be at a school that has a scholarship to burn on his transfer sit out year.

We Suck "Megathread" All things Nebraska sucks

Is it a sign how bad things are when Mavs sleeps in and blows off creating the *** Official Game Thread ***? -

Fact or fiction: Ozigbo doesn't get a lot of YAC. I got the play-by-play and distilled it down to just Zig plays, then I went through them. Here's what I found. Zig had 18 carries; 17-170 and one was called back because of Foster's PF. Of his 18 carries, 5 of them had YAC greater than 5 yards, 11 were 1-5 yards, and 2 were stopped at contact. So I rate this a fact. Zig doesn't get a lot of YAC but he does consistently get 2-3 yards falling forward. Other things I noticed, Zig is used mostly on 1st and 10. He had 13 1st down carries, 4 2nd down carries, and just 1 3rd down carry. Also, 2AM thinks Zig has a 42" vertical, he over threw Zig twice.

Monday after Purdue is going to be interesting

I like double meaning word play here. -
He's 4th with 20 tackles, behind Barry (37), and Williams(25) and Young(25).

Unjust punishment has negative side effects. One of the possible side effects you cited is team division. @WyoHusker56 is giving another negative side effect, resentment of the coach handing down the punishment.

You old school Bear Bryant guys haven't been listened to Frost very close. Fear, shame, intimidate, and the like aren't going to be used as coaching methods.

More yards than the opponent + more penalties than the opponent + more turnovers than the opponent = more losses than you can imagine
