Actually, there are a few of us, who can say they remember these well. I wont mention any of their names, but personally, I recall racing home after school, to  watch Popeye, and some of the other good ole cartoons, bugs, road runner, daffy, Tom & Jerry, droopy, Mighty Mouse, underdog, and so forth.

OK, go ahead, my kids think I am as old as dirt too 

@TAKODA I remember all of those....except Popeye. My only recollection of Wimpy is hearing my dad talk about it. Woody Woodpecker is about the oldest one I can recall. That was a common one they would show at the theatre for summer matinees when I was a kid. I'm probably just not quite as old as dirt yet 

@JJ Husker Ha, Whimpy and OliveOil were characters in Popeye. I too remember woody woodpecker. Oh, how innocent life was back then. +1 for being old as dust then, you whipper snapper.
