And by ''reside'' I mean what position that ''more talent'' is, position wise. Dominating line play will usually still beat more talented ''skill talent'', but there seems to be a larger number of exceptions these days.

I'm not convinced we will have ''more talent than anyone else in our division'' or how you would effectively even measure it... It's not like everybody else just stops recruiting more talent. Minnesnota and Wisky will probably be our measuring sticks for the next few seasons... Until we get enough depth to get the second string guys more valuable experience/playing time, talent alone won't win as consistently as most of us grew up watching.. I guess I still hope for more MNCs before Football is outlawed.. But either way...Still will enjoy the ride.

I'm not sure where you believe we'll ''have more talent than anyone'' in the ''weaker'' division of our conference..Probably more important in any event will be where that talent resides and how we coach them.. Hopefully this won't start another talent vs coaching beer commercial debate.

Foosball is getting to be such an arms race, I don't see many top teams chasing OCs or DCs with no prior coordinator experience and in our case, some sort of reputation of being an innovator of the ''next big thing''. Hopefully we get back to moar better gametime adjustments out of our coordinators as well.

Disappointed in the bowls this season with so many of the top athletes not participating...How about paying the Seniors to play with some of that Bowl Money?

How can it not? Sure we have some great talent coming in, but according to our recruiting rankings, we're just keeping up with the rest of the middle so far. Back when we were good, we could attract a higher percentage of talent with our coaching (reputation for getting the most out of that talent). That will probably take all of SF's contract if it happens.

Not sure if, or where stats are kept for this....But I noticed more than a few games this season (both NFL and College)...There wasn't a single kickoff in several games without a resulting penalty. I seem to recall rumors going around about eliminating kickoffs for increased player safety, but is it possible that they're trying to make it a boring non-factor in the meantime?

I realize I'd just started scrutinizing college football in 1970 when I was 10...But I doubt Devaney ever sniffs an MNC without Osborne on staff..Who in turn Gained tremendous loyalty from his own assistants..Had an amazing memory for specifics and minute details.

The two year extension has me a little concerned. Not that I don't hope Frost is our last FB coach of my lifetime, but it strikes me as a desperation move to try to help recruiting. Our staff has always had some hardships recruiting to DONU but at times, we've had the reputation of getting the most out of a player which became a big draw to ''blue chips'' in the past. Maybe this admin is recognizing Frost's national perception of turning around a program ''window'' is closing fast due to our gametime problems making adjustments.

Strange, they only list us having two OGs on scholarship and no OG recruits so far...Are we only relying on walkons?

Saw separate articles stating that we have 20 players that are 4*s Who are they and is there a list of our roster that includes their star ranking?

That's even fewer Defensive recruits than I remembered..

He played in 4 games this year...So..Can he take a redshirt this year and play somewhere else next year?

It seemed to permeate through the Pac12...and then somewhat in the Big12...I remember worrying about Frost still believing in this while at UCF, especially when he brought Chin with him here...Maybe Chin is one of the few ''patsies'' that would go along with this doomed to fail experiment.. I sometimes even wondered if Callihan had a similar belief the way he seemed to hog most of the higher rated recruits for Offense and kept Cosgrove around.
