I’ll admit it-I’m one of them because I committed to 5 years for Scott just like many here on this board. Scott will be on the hot seat from Day 1 of the 2022-2023 season so perhaps things will be different. If not, time will be up and he will be gone.

But wasn’t Scott’s win-loss record at UFC one of the reasons we hired him in the first place? Is that our only barometer when closing a coach?

But we didn’t get stomped. We went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the B1G and ranked 5th in the nation. The stadium was packed out.

I just don't think firing Scott is the solution. My commitment when we first heard that Scott might come here, was 5 years. I still remember the Scott Frost Mega Thread. So many of us here on the board were part of that missive and we all said no matter what we would give him 5 years. I say give him 1 more year. (Dude, this is nothing personal ok? I adore all of you guys and value your different opinions-We're family. Disfunctiona, yeah, ok, but at the end of the day-still family. I'm the annoying sister! )

Even if we would’ve pulled off the upset there would still be people complaining. Crap if you do and crap if you don’t. I vote we keep Scott one more year with huge changes in offensive staff, hire a special teams coach and for crying out loud-get a decent kicker! Go raid the soccer team! GBR!

Something that hasn’t been mentioned is that Scott could just resign. I’m sure many people would cheer if that happens but I hope he gets one more year. However, he’s going to have to do some major housecleaning with his staff if allowed to return.
