What's wrong with giving a stranger words of encouragement when they need it most?

Again, If you feel the need to reach out to a college player over social media, who you do not know personally. I think you have issues. If you do it under an anonymous name, I think you really have issues. Want to be more sincere? Write them a hand written letter and sign it with you real name and address. Just my opinion I guess.

Usually I'd say there is no need to reach out to someone you don't know. But when there are that negative of comments sent someone's way, staying silent when you can do something positive very easily, that is an issue.
