      Does the study account for a 22 scholarship increase? That would make a difference too, I would think. Appalachian State would be a good comparison for any study, a team with similar success and made the jump. If Appalachian State can sit #2 in their conference,

      Yeah, there's a lot this study isn't accounting for, including the increase in scholarships, coaching, and 'intangibles'. I find it hard to believe they'd be anything lower than third in the Big XII or in the bottom half of the Pac-12 with their style of play, home-field advantage, and their ability to play extremely well on the road.
