    Why not? Lots of other schools claim disputed national championships. UCF shouldn't be any different.

      @Comfortably Numb there are 252 D3 teams with a 32 team playoff. D2 has 169 team with 28 playoff spots. FCS has 124 teams with 24 playoff spots. D1 FBS has 130 teams. An 8 team playoff with conference championship play in game the week before solves the problem.

      @jaws yes, it may be easier to do than I think. Let's hope so. But, the first thing to fix imo is the system that allowed Bama in this year. IMO that's as f'd up as the UCF situation. Maybe they'll expand it and somehow get rid of the ridiculous 2nd chance scenario. I do not want to see the regular season and ccgs rendered meaningless because of some perception of greatness. If Bama was that great they should've won their conference. They didn't.

      Expand to 8 or 10 and only allow conference championship and maximum one loss independents.
