    Oklahoma Joe's in the Haymarket is closing after less than 6 months in business. Tried it once. It was OK, nothing special. Nothing about it made me want to go there instead of Phat Jack's or Lippy's.

      I think that spot might be one of those spots that just struggles, who knows!

      I think the restaurants in the Haymarket would struggle during the week, if there isn't an event at the PBA going on.  If you are an adult in Lincoln, you probably aren't going to go back downtown after work, and if you are a student at UNL, you aren't going to be able to afford a dinner at a restaurant down there.  Those places have to absolutely kill it during football weekends, basketball games, and concerts just to make it worth staying open year-round.
