Ha, shows what I know. She went to class this morning. Said there was a layer of ice on her glasses when she got there. She's a much better student than I ever was. For me, today would've been a sleep in till noon and play euchre the rest of the day type of day 

I remember Creighton during the cold times, mainly because I was on crutches after the 2nd surgery on my knee(3 days prior but had to get to class), ice and snow everywhere, on the bricks and the occasional old rail line.  I can barely move, backpack on, hit one of the ice spots on the old rail line and landed flat on my arse, feeling warm wetness running down my leg, popped all stitches but one and people just watched me lay there in pain.

 I remember wanting to go play under the teepee made by the bowing tree branches. My parents thought that was too dangerous. What did they know...

I think class was cancelled twice in the 7 or so years I was at UNL. Once was power went out for a bit during a snow storm. Another was preemptive, but it ended up barely snowing.
