    What is a realistic time frame for movie spoilers? How long after a movie is released is it OK to talk openly about specific plot points without being a jerk?

      I go by the decade rule. If it's been less than a decade since the movie/show release, then I ask if they've seen it. If it's been more than a decade, then they've given up their right not to have it spoiled.
