I agree that if I'm not watching it live that avoiding spoilers becomes my responsibility. It's not like a movie, it's like a sporting event, as @Enhance analogizes.

I've had good luck with the previous episodes. Just not with this one. I've avoided major stuff, but there are comments and references galore, and your eye drags across them before you can look away.

As great as that was, the next two final two books will be better. Unless GRRM dies first. Let to peak geekdom continue.

As far as spoilers go, my 4 MO daughters peak sleeping hours are 8-11 and I don't snag sleep then I probably won't get it. Watching so I don't have to worry about spoilers beats no sleep every time.

@spurs1990  uh maybe. The last 2 books weren't very good. Honestly, I've preferred the show over any of the books.
