Can't say as I blame him considering he should've played much more last season but unbelievably didn't get called upon much when 2AM was struggling. No way it gets any more likely going forward with LM gaining experience and Smothers now in the mix. Would've been really nice if we could've kept him satisfied. I wish him the best and really hope now more than ever that 2AM returns to form.

@krc1995 IIRC the NCAA is extending a blanket extra year of eligibility for spring sports. I think it's kind of on individual schools and their student-athletes to decide whether they will take advantage of it.

I'm not sure about Vedral though since it's not a spring sport, he's a grad assistant and he's still got two years of eligibility.

I guess if a school doesn’t let seniors stay the portal will be full of transfers. I wonder if they have to have a broad policy- like all seniors get another senior year, or if they can pick and choose. I guess it would probably be the second one.
