    Does anyone understand why The Irishman isn't getting a wide release, but only relegated to small theaters?

      Just a guess, but sometimes they do that to have it out at a certain point/time so that it can be considered for the Oscars.

      Yup. It's a Netflix movie, but it needs to be in some theaters to get consideration by the academy.

      And I think because it was produced by Netflix there is a small theatre release now, then it goes live on streaming at the end of Nov.

    Another primetime blowout...what an absolute embarrassment...The gap in talent is so wide, it's laughable.

    Do you have to be a redneck to find Larry the Cable Guy funny? I don't get him at all. Wearing the overalls and talking like he just fell off a turnip truck. To a lot of Americans, Larry is exactly who they picture when you say the word Nebraska. I really wish we could get away from that stereotype.

    "Our Boys" on HBO is a must see. It is based on kidnappings that occurred in 2014 between Israel and Palestine. The acting is amazing. I didn't realize Israelis and Palestinians literally live side by side. The tension is overwhelming.

      I'm watching old games, too. Just finished 1996 NU at KSU. Shortly after the ASU debacle, and a young Scott Frost learning to guide the machine.

       

      Can't wait. It's only two weeks to gameday!
