    One attainable goal for winter S&C is getting full depth on squats.  1/4 squats probably cost us 4 games this year.

      I agree to an extent. Here the problem with S&C guys these days. They are ALL trying to be revolutionary for one thing.....clout. It's awful. 

       

      Quarter squats don't put you in a position to "push through when it gets tough"....lifting should always be about that quoted line right there. When you hit the wall, you flipping SLAM through it.

    Bama just locked themselves into the playoff. Congrats for not winning the division. AGAIN, and being allowed a shot at the natty.

      The thing is. I’d be fine with it if they put some requirements with how it’s only 4 teams.

       

      like you HAVE TO at least be a division winner. Although I’d like for it to be limited to conference champion. Regardless if that champion is 10-3 or not. 
       

      The committee has devalued certain conferences and I don’t think that’s right.

    We have ZERO players that would start for LSU or Bama.  Those guys are on a way different level.

      Also. I was telling my buddy today. Oregon recruits at a high level now and I don't think THEY are even close to elite level yet either.

       

      The top 4 teams are SO far ahead of everyone else.

      Yet people think we should be close or can compete? There's not a chance for a really long time. Recruiting needs to be 100 times better, and the development does too.

       

      You won't see NU resemble something like that.....maybe ever. Which is a huge bummer.

    Another Shooting. Some sort of mall area in Jacksonville. Video's surfacing...

      There is a zoomed in part of the two at the bottom of the screen. Just before it cuts out there is a laser pointed at the guy on the right.

       

      Unbelievable. Report is that the shooter was a player and lost, then went nuts.

    In light of the Urban Meyer cover-up news, do you think Osborne would have survived the 90's as head coach if it was in today's time of social media and hot takes? At the very least, without proper context and from the outside in, some of his behavior looks ~very~ morally suspicious.

      This is great. The only X-Men character that I would have liked to see in the MCU is Wolverine, and when it does happen it won't be Hugh Jackman - Would like to see Deadpool in action in the MCU as well.

    I turned down an opportunity to interview for my "dream" job today for the betterment of my wife. I'm in a weird state of mind tonight. One of the harder things I've ever had to do.

      It will be fine. Defenses are more about situational sets than they are about the actual scheme. If you call off the lions to try to protect a lead when getting after it was how you got there...then that's on the coach's defensive playcalling. Not the scheme.

    As much as I’m happy to see the B1G have a good bowl season, I cant get excited living vicariously through other teams’ success. Seems like a very SEC thing to do. Can’t wait for us to be contributing next year.

      Except I don't ever look at bowl records as meaning the conference is strong. At least not completely. It's obvious the Pac12 isn't very strong now, and the Big10 is pretty good. However when most of the games are Big10 beating up on Pac12 schools....it's hard to justify. 

      What was the big10's record in all non conference power 5 games this year? I would expect that record to be good but its got to be part of the equation too. By seasons end there are teams that are more beat up than others. I've never given the SEC the benefit of claiming to be best conference just because of bowl season alone.

      No offense Xmas. That is a terrible trend that is happening when it comes to people and how they get information. They read headlines and assume they know what's going on without reading the article. Kids are awful with it in school. They read a headline and freak out over something they know nothing about. It's sad.

      Isn't this industry full of girls that are depressed? I feel like you hear of women that get out of the industry talk about how much better they feel now that they aren't being used as an object. I get there are some that love what they do, but take Jenna Jameson, she has been open about a trauma that happened to her specifically with another male when she was young and that in her mind the adult industry made her numb to it. 

      There's a very dark side to the industry and it's not ever portrayed for people to understand.
