  1. That was before the Wisconsin game. He had over 25 yards rushing in that but we still lost. He meant 25 yards rushing in one play. I don't think he did that against Wisconsin. Actually, for net rushing, it was true till that point that when TM had 25 yards or more net rushing, it was a 'W' every time. I didn't believe at first, but sure enough, it was true.
  2. Thanks for posting. I see this one, too - "senior linebacker Lavonte David has been named the Lott Trophy National Impact Player of the Week" But, this stuck out to me: "In the game, Martinez also surpassed 2,500 career passing yards and the 4,000-yard career total offense plateau. Martinez reached 4,000 career total offense yards in his 19th career game, tying for the fastest player to reach that mark in NU history". T-Mart haters, what do you have to say about that?
  3. 100% Got Carl? approved - sharing with anyone who'll watch it.
  4. I didn't realize a world-class band was a prereq for this conference.
  5. Found one: @VT - 2009 the other @OU - 2008
  6. That formation makes me drool. More please.
  7. I haven't watched any ESPiN pregame crap for years, but found myself really loving the BTN's version of it. They don't appear to have any agenda for one or a couple of teams, and every BT team gets fair and equitable coverage.
  8. I said "YES" because by the time Bowser got in for a meaningful snap, we were only down 7 and the momentum had started to change. If anything, it's a toss up, but since that wasn't an option, I go with YES. They could not stop the offense in the 4th Q. It was 3rd and 8 when Bauserman came into the game, Huskers down 14. I'm assuming the D does get a stop with either QB. Since the Huskers scored the following series, momentum was on our side. EDIT - changed my vote to TOO CLOSE TO CALL since the option was added after my post/vote.
  9. No, we reserve that right for bone-headed conference commissioners, making them fear for their lives.
  10. Sad that his QB rating was .9. That's point 9. For comparison sake, Tmart's performance @Wisky was 89.9.
  11. But he did and we didn't, plain and simple. It's neither plain, nor simple. I just watched some of the replay on BTN. Miller went out when it was 3rd and 8, and what guarantees were there they would have picked up a first down? It was only a 7 point deficit when Bauserman came in for a whole series. The momentum had already started to swing the Huskers' way after L.David stole the ball away, and the offense was starting to have its way with OSU's defense. Speculate about it all you want, but sounds like excuses to me.
  12. #11, who continues to whiff and fall down on nearly every play.
  13. apparently the season is over. I hoped the whining and moaning would have quieted down at least a little and there'd be some discussion on the next game. But, no.
  14. Just curious. I thought there'd be some talk about it, but I guess the season is over already.
  15. "This one is on Beck"... yep, that's exactly what I said in my drunken stupor. He got greedy, went away from things that were working. Were they still "practicing things we weren't very good at" in this game? Yeah, Martinez didn't execute, but Beck did not do him any favors at all by his play calling.
  16. Um, hello, this is all nonsense talk. We REALLY lost because there was a GD Horns fan at our watch site. Dude brought some bad juju! I told the waitress to get rid of him, but he just wouldn't freaking leave!
  17. We became an FCS team this week. (That's Division 2, to you, knapp)
  18. I may have mentioned before that I used to hide my head behind my hands when I saw Frazier pass and then sneak a peak. Mostly I would end up saying, "Frazier, don't pass!"
