  1. He apparently "built" his guns that he used for this rampage. I'm curious to know exactly what that means. For now, people are just going to write this off as "see, he wasn't allowed to have guns and he still pulled it off!!!!!" and it will just get thrown on the stack with the rest of them....
  2. Take this for what you will, but I was talking to a friend who follows Husker football pretty closely...... But word is, NU has it narrowed down to only 2 options. Either Frost accepts a deal to become the next head coach, or he doesn't. I trust my friend, he reads HuskerBoard.
  3. Then what are you doing? BRB brought of Hannity in the context of he would be all over democrats, and you specifically said he did.
  4. Sorry, I didn't realize Sean Hannity took a strong position on Bill Clinton in the late 90's when his audience was 50,000 people...
  5. I can see what you are getting at. But people were defending Hillary, not Bill. I've yet to come across an article about how awful Moore's wife must be since she hasn't filed for divorce after these allegations came out.
  6. I says, that sounds like a guy that walked up to a player and started asking questions. I says, I think the player was trolling....
  7. I saw that Kim Jong-un Tweet on Facebook and actually gave Mr. Trump the benefit of the doubt that it was fabricated. Two minutes later I see it in in a CBS News article....
  8. Just came in a few minutes ago. Is Lee injured, or did he get benched?
  9. In KSU years, that means like he'd still have 20 years of coaching left!
  10. I think, at least hope, even Trump knows to leave "well enough alone". Pardoning the armed takeover of federal property would be a giant green flag for anti-Trumpers to storm the Capitol. Hyperbole?
  11. I took Nebfanatic's comment to mean that the citizen that helped scare off the shooter would have still been able to have a gun and help. Edit:^^^Nebfanatic just further explained his post they way I understood it.
  12. He's not fit for office for a myriad of reasons. CNN doesn't need to become FoxNews to critique this guy.
  13. That's what I saw too. CNN actually has a short column about this "incident". I think the man is a clown, but I can kind of sympathize with his disdain for CNN and other media outlets when they try to create a context that isn't based in reality.
  14. This was the first time I've taken the chance to watch one of his pressers, and now I'm sold. That guy is overflowing with a quiet confidence that would be hard not to tap into as a player or fan. I think it is rare that a head coach will admit to the press that "I'm exhausted with all this baby stuff", "My mind probably wasn't into the game as much as it should have been", etc. No one saw it as a negative. It was just a young man with a lot on his plate (not to mention NU rumors) and he was able to overcome a tough game. And you could tell that he didn't have any doubt that he would, even with all of the noise he knew they could win because of his coaches and players. I'm not on the "Frost or bust" train; but after watching, I'll be a little disappointed if he coaches somewhere other than UCF or Nebraska.
  15. This was true when I was in high school: 1995-1999. I think it has a lot to do with high school kids being busy with everything else: school, work, activities, girlfriends/boyfriends. It was especially hard to get amped for a Saturday game when you just got done spending the whole week playing football and Saturday morning practice; plus you didn't "idolize" players anymore, they were just a couple years older and it was weird if you did. Now, as a young kid we imagined being the next Husker great and pretended to play Colorado and Oklahoma in the backyard. As an adult it is a fun reason to party and get together.
  16. Question for the recruiting fans: was Jonathon Taylor ever a target for Riley?  Not necessarily that he even thought of Nebraska, but was he offered?  This kid is fun to watch.

  17. Yes, "people are angry" , and yes, "his words are making an impact." He is just to freaking clueless to know it isn't to his benefit.
  18. That sent a shiver down my spine. Kind of hard to stomach the idea that actually happened on US soil. Even more disturbing to know that it is still happening today.
  19. ^^^^If he truly did it for his twisted version of God, let the son of a bitch live forever and never see his paradise.
  20. I don't get why they didn't leave it at just "we are moving them to a different location in the building so our parishioners can gain a better understanding of our church's history." making a point to say say people were offended and didn't return for that reason just sounds silly.
  21. .I just got yelled at for helping with the wash.  Evidently, they make wash rags that you aren't supposed to wash in the laundry. It was a freaking "sitcom" moment. (except no one was laughing). I'm still shaking my head....
