    charcoal or propane?? i personally feel propane works good for older folks with no taste buds. kids dont seem to mind either.

      I use propane BUT I also soak wood chips in water to make a smoke.

      Charcoal without lighter fluid. Chimney starter is the only way to go.

      Wrong about the chimney starter. My electric coil starter is much better and I'm up and ready to grill within five minutes. Only way to go.
