    Chigger bite home remedies needed! I'm covered again and store bought stuff does nothing

      Heat a spoon under hot water. Hold the spoon against the bite for a few minutes. That should take the itch out. It works for mosquito bites. A warm bath with Epson salt or baking soda might help.

      I had a few bites on my ankle last week and just for fun tried plain white vinegar.  About 4 or 5 drops and rubbed it in.  It seemed to work well.  I have not found any over the counter remedies that worked as well.

      If you don’t have vapo rub, you could maybe try Icy hot, IDK.  I’ve never used this one but it makes sense and lots of people claim it’s the best. Do the hot shower thing first....
