The line about them sweating and working hard is crap. That's a nice sentiment, but the subtext there is: I'm not going to prosecute because they were less fortunate than me (and now play at Bama). I'd like to see what kind of book is thrown at two young black gentlemen in this same situation who DON'T play ball at Bama.

This is a bit off the subject but, are you guys serious? A cop smelling marijuana does not give him probable cause for a search? IDK either way but that sure does seem counter intuitive. I mean there is a distinct smell that anyone can discern.

While the scent of MJ might not be enough to continue a further search, the handgun on one players lap and the stolen handgun under the seat would be enough for any DA to put a similar young man (not a Bama FB player) in jail for a considerable time. Southern justice prevails again.
