If LP was a recruit this year, and you knew his character, would you want him if there was a 50/50 chance Riley could straighten him out to be a decent citizen?
the question is- would you still want him in Lincoln if he completely straightened his life around but failed as a football player? Life,even troubled lives, are about so much more than football or the University.
That's tough. On the one hand you know that the program has the chance to change someone's life for the better. On the other I'd rather see the opportunity awarded to someone who had earned it more. At least don't make football ability part of the consideration.
