Is the Ole Miss job a coveted gig? The paycheck is, we know that. But for a school with a ton of talent around it and nice weather and campus, is it a highly thought of job like an LSU?

The "history" aspect in college football is becoming less relevant. Ole Miss has a lot of big money donors, and they are in talent rich areas, but other than a decent year here or there, they have never been able to be a consistent winner. I think all of those schools in the SEC are so close together that the kids can go anywhere and be driveable distance for relatives and friends. That's how the bigger schools will be able to be better than Ole Miss.
