absolutely loved that movie in my early 20s... but now, kinda cringeworthy. Still, some classic lines. I love the pep talk in the club: "you're like a f**king bear"

You gotta remember that Swingers was also made for like $200k and that Favreau and Vaughn were pretty much no-name actors before the movie (as was Liman who has become a big time director.)  I totally get why it doesn't hold up--remember when swing dancing came back and was a thing?!  Hilarious!

To me Swingers isn't a good movie per se, but it falls into a category for me which are movies that aren't very good but are fun walks down nostalgia lane.  I have great memories of movies like Zoolander, Rounders (although Rounders is legit fantastic), Swingers and The Program with me hanging out with my buddies watching these movies and inevitably doing something funny and idiotic.

Swingers is good, but I think Made is a better show with Vaughn/Favreau. Made is frickin hilarious.
