I don't know what schools you are referring to but that was one of the most glaring things that I noticed for certain schools too.  

Make it easy...keep schools that are close to each other in the same district.

@jaws I am sure they do, it was the same way where I grew up.  All those guys make way too much money for what they do and none of them seem to use any common sense.

I thought they used to do that but some of the Class A districts threw a fit over North Platte, Grand Island, Norfolk and Columbus having their own district.  Pretty sure the new way of assigning districts was the districts' idea, not the NSAA.
